Tackey & Tsubasa - Pride the END
Because
I am obsessed with these two guys, there's no way that a song of theirs
is not in my top-ten. Pride the END is probably a lesser-known song
though (off their 2wenty 2wo album) - I love it because it's very
catchy and upbeat, a sort of a pop-ish dance-track feel to it. And I
don't know whether if it's just me, but it somehow sounded just a
little different from their usual fare.

Ryohei Yamamoto - Rainy Days
One
of Ryohei's best songs in my opinion. Very easy-listening, R&B-ish
and a little pop-ish. Ryohei's falsetto is good enough to pull off the
entire song.

Sowelu - Breath
A
very beautiful song - soothing and relaxing. I've always love Sowelu's
vocals and some people don't, so I guess it's pretty subjective. But
Breath is a very nice song - kinda of a sad melody, but it hooked me
all the same.

Noriyuki Makihara - I Need You
Noriyuki
Makihara has been a huge favourite of mine since I heard Such A Lovely
Place (I lost the CD! *cry!*) and I highly recommend this track. He has
a very unique voice that is sort of comparable to Ken Hirai and the
CHEMISTRY boys (which maybe explains why I love all of them so much) -
and he's also an immensely talented artiste who composes his own songs.
I do admit his face is a little hard to look at...*is
stabbed*...anyway, I Need You is one of his mellow tracks, very very
nice (which is a word that is going to be extremely overused here) -
and very distinctively Noriyuki Makihara.

m-flo ♥ Sakamoto Ryuichi - I WANNA BE DOWN
m-flo's
more electic stuff - sort of techno. I didn't like it at first, but
this song just slowly grew on me with it's electic/techno beat, and I'm
now a fan. ^^;; Give it a try even if you dislike techno - it's pretty
good.

Mr.Children - Youthful Days
This
is the theme song to the 2001 Japanese drama, Antique (Takizawa
Hideaki, Naohito Fujiki etc). Mr.Children composed the soundtrack of
that drama and I'm dying to get my hands on it! Anyway, Youthful Days
is a very catchy track - I love it, maybe cos it fits the drama well -
but this is right up there with my other Mr.Children favourites.

Miyamato Shunichi - Usotsuki
I
don't know much about this artiste - he also works in the anime field
and is a graduate of a music school. Usotsuki is a track taken off his
latest album - somebody to love. Miyamoto Shunichi is not one of the
best vocalists ever, but this song was done very nicely indeed.

CHEMISTRY - Point of No Return
First
heard this song in some stupid Taiwanese serial, it really really
HOOKED me once the music started to play. CHEMISTRY did a superb job on
this song - and I initially had these heart-soaring feelings when they
got to the chorus. Damn good song!

FLAME - Fundamental Loop
Not much I know about FLAME, at all. This is a song off their Fundamental Loop single, my favourite FLAME song to date.

Ken Hirai FEAT LISA - TABOO
Wonderful
collabration by both artistes - Ken Hirai has one of the most
soothingly beautiful voices in the industry (in my humble opinion of
course) and LISA's high clear tones set off his voice very nicely. LISA
used to be the singer for m-flo before she left the group to go solo.
This song is definitely worth the download to try it out!

Bonus!
m-flo ♥ melody & Ryohei Yamamoto - Miss You
If
there is only one m-flo track that I can listen to for the rest of my
life, or if you would only choose ONE m-flo track to listen to, let it
be this one. This is seriously one of m-flo's best collabrations to
date, I think. It's a fun sort of song with VERBAL's trademark rapping
- and melody and Ryohei's voice complemented each other well. Brilliant
song, honestly.

pretty ballad music

from the OST of the drama 18/29,
which i've never watched ... but for those obsessed with that new SM
project with 12 boys younger than me ... choi si won was in this drama
playing the younger version of the dude. my roommate sent me this song
:D.
