~Asou Kahori is the vocalist for all of the songs from the video game/anime series Wild ARMs. She has a voice and style very similar to that of Maaya Sakamoto, so Maaya Sakamoto fans might want to check her out.
2) Suitei Shoujo-- "Waremono"
~Suitei
Shoujo is often described as the Japanese t.A.T.u, even though they
were a band before t.A.T.u formed. Anyways, these girls have an
interesting sound: sort of like Ali Project but more poppy. Waremono is a very pretty song.
3) Garnet Crow-- "flying"
~We really like the sound of Garnet Crow's lead vocalist's voice! We reccommend this song if you haven't heard it yet.
4) Vivian or Kazuma-- "Darling Honey"
~Vivian or Kazuma are probably most well known for their song moment, the second opening theme to the anime Gundam Seed. The male singer, Kazuma, is an ex- member of the band Siam Shade. Darling Honey is a fun dance song.
5) Emiko Shiratori-- "Galway no Sora"
~A really pretty song, coupled with the Final Fantasy IX theme Melodies of Life. Emiko Shiratori has a very folksy-sound to her songs, but they're pretty good.
6) Arisaka Mika-- "Life Goes On"
~This was the second ending theme to the anime Gundam Seed: Destiny. It's very beautiful, with extremely moving lyrics.
7) Love Psychedelico-- "Lady Madonna"
~Love
Psychedelico has a very unique, funky sound to their music. If you want
to try something different, this is the band for you.

~NiNa
was a group that consisted of JUDY AND MARY's Yuki and the B-52's Kate
Pierson. Their music was a mixture of Japanese and American pop, well
known to fans of the video game/anime series Arc the Lad which featured their songs Happy Tomorrow and Rest in Peace. Rest in Peace
is a very emotional song that describes a person living after the death
of a loved one. The best part about this song is that it's subtle and
gentle, yet extremely poignant.
9) Fairy Fore-- "Sexual Excitement"
~We love Fairy Fore! They're best known for the song Vivid, the first ending theme to the anime Final Fantasy Unlimited. Their songs are extremely energetic and Sexual Excitement is no exception.
10) Yoko Takahashi-- "Shiawase ha/wa tsumi no nioi"
~Probably best known for the opening theme song to Neon Genesis Evangelion, Yoko Takahashi has done songs for many other anime shows/movies as well. Shiawase ha/wa tsumi no nioi
isn't a particularly different kind of J-Pop song, we just happen to
really like it. Also, the file name is wrong. It should be how it
